Hi! Thanks for stopping by to learn a little bit more about me! I am a Green Bay, Wisconsin Farm and family photographer, who loves everything about farm life and always has a book nearby.
My name is Alyssa Bloechl, and yes I am a photographer, but I am a lot more than just a person behind a camera with a lot of intimidating buttons.
First, you should know, I grew up on a dairy farm in Gleason, WI. My red barn background brought me to love all things cows, crops and farm families.
I was raised to work hard, appreciate the people around me and to never stop looking for something new to learn. My lessons from the dairy have brought me to so many wonderful places, and I could not be more grateful.
When I graduated from UW-Platteville with a Communication Technologies degree and a Psychology minor in 2013, I moved to Green Bay with the love of my life, Eli. I worked for three years as a journalist for USA TODAY NETWORK-Wisconsin in Kewaunee, Sturgeon Bay, and Manitowoc. I had many wonderful opportunities to learn about the unique people, issues and many farms along the Lake Michigan shoreline.
I now work as a marketing specialist for a Green Bay family-owned company and I adore it. The change has allowed me to start up this small photography business.
I especially love when life brings me to a farm, to meet the people that run and operate it and to see the whole thing in action. I find that having a visual representation of farms is a wonderful way to document true change and adaptation to challenges.
You will frequently find me reading a novel with a hot cup of coffee and a blanket, but I also can be found exploring the outdoors, practicing yoga on the regular, playing with my energetic hounds and always looking to meet new friends. I hope you and I can connect in the near future!
